The house of Yves Saint Laurent has always been known for establishing iconic staples in a woman's wardrobe and continuously evolving and refining them. There probably isn't one fashion enthusiast who didn't snatch up a pair of the 'Tribute' platform pumps when they were introduced three seasons ago. For Spring/Summer 2008, the 'Tribute' still has it's platform and 4 inch heel but it's been given a fresh new look with a t-strap and buckled ankle strap. How amazing they looked in yellow when they tip-toed in front of me outside the Giambattista Valli show. YSL 'Tribute' sandals + rolled up cropped pants = FEROCIA COUTURA!!! LOL

I am so gutted a few months ago Men's Vogue italia featured a pair of YSL Gladiator sandals with gold eyelets which I HAD to have and I called around everywhere and it turns out they were never produced.
